CAMHI's successful event in Crete
In a packed hall of the Cultural Conference Centre of Heraklion, with a diverse and expressive audience, the big event of the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Initiative in Crete took place on Saturday, 30 November 2024, during which 7 of our members presented the work carried out locally by our hub center and nationwide by the other 4 centers.
The event was attended or greeted by many members of the local authorities such as the deputy mayors Mr. George Pitsoulis and Mrs. Georgia Milaki, the Deputy Mayors of Mr. George Tsagarakis and Mrs. Rena Papadaki, the Deputy Governors of the 7th Department of Health, Mr. Cleovoulou and Ms. Spinthouri, and the Rector of the University of Crete, Mr. George Kontakis. It lasted 2 hours, and during the meeting, our members analyzed all the program's main pillars and spoke about its importance in enhancing children's access to quality mental health care.
